Registration Information/Policies

Tuition - Tuition is due the first lesson of each month. Tuition will be the same each month regardless of holidays, absences, or closings due to increment weather (if excessive classes are missed due to bad weather a make up class will be scheduled). A $5.00 late fee will be added if tuition is not paid by the 12th of the month. If your child misses a class before recital routines have begun, they may participate with another class to make up their absence.

Practice Wear - Dancewear is required at every practice. Leotard with tights, dance pants, or shorts. Appropriate shoes must be worn in class. Pink leather ballet shoes, suntan jazz shoes, and bare feet for tumbling. Absolutely no street clothes may be worn to practice in!! NO GUM IN CLASS!

Arrival - Students may arrive 10 minutes before class to prepare for their class. All parents and visitors must observe classes from waiting area. Please do not disturb classes while in session. Please do not allow children to play outside the building. I will not be responsible for any children not scheduled for class.

Drinks - Any drinks brought to practice must stay on table in dance room. Please do not set drinks or your body in observation window.

Bad Weather - The studio will be closed if Smith County schools are closed due to bad weather. For any other closings see the studio schedule.

Recital - Our recital is usually held at the end of May. A recital fee of $20 per student is required by May 1. The fee pays for the rental of the auditorium, stage decorations, insurance, etc. As soon as a date and place is set information will be posted.

Costumes - Recital costumes will be ordered by December 1. A costume will not be ordered if it is not paid in full by due date.

Respect - Good attitude toward teachers and classmates is expected.

Newsletters are posted and given out periodically. It is your responsibility to keep up to date on information. I will do my best to give notice of events.
