Competition Policies

1. No negative attitude will be tolerated. You may be asked to leave the group if not participating at competition standards.

2. Attendance at practices should be your top priority. Any extra practices scheduled are mandatory. There will be a $5 charge for each extra practice.

3. Proper dress and hair pulled up will be required for practices. Proper dance shoes required at every practice. These will be ordered so everyone matches. (Absolutely no jeans or bare feet!)

4. A Carthage Dance Studio shirt must be purchased and worn at every competition.

5. Competition costumes will be ordered by the end of October. Full payment is due before ordering.

6. Competition fees must be paid by due date or you will not participate in that competition. (non-refundable)

7. I have no control over the times and dates of competitions. They are all held on weekends, but you may dance on Saturday, Sunday, or both. I do not receive a competition schedule until the Monday before each competition.

8. Awards programs are part of the competition. You are expected to participate unless an emergency arises.

9. I will give out scheduled competitions and and all pricing for competitions and costumes as soon as possible.
